The Bible says that those that come to God must believe that he is and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. The Bible reading today highlights one of the many blessings of Joseph who endured pain and hardship as the forerunner of Israel into the Egypt to ultimately save the land from famine. In today’s Bible reading, as the land was being shared to the tribes of Israel, we see that Joseph was accounted for as two tribes. He had an extra stake in Israel. This is in addition to the benefits that he experienced in his own lifetime.  One of the benefits of a diligent walk in the paths that God defines is in the generational blessings that accompany your original blessing as was the case of Abraham whose blessings the Israelites were now benefiting from. Are you looking for generational blessings? Pay the price of full obedience to God especially in the face of uncertainty. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Alpha and Omega, the one who was, who is, and would forever be. Thank you for the privilege of knowing you. Thank you for the privilege of service. Lord, I receive the grace to trust you completely and stay the course  in the process as you mold me into the gold that you want to showcase to the world. Please Lord, let the reward of obedience and a guided life be evident to the world in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
