And there is great rejoicing in heaven over every sinner that repents (Luke 15:10). The ultimate joy in heaven is at the final redemption when the Lamb of God comes for his own. Those who have made themselves ready like the Bible reading today says through righteousness - the obedience to God’s instructions. He that stays unto the end will be saved. Think of the parable of the virgins. The ones who finally made it into the marriage with the bridegroom where those who carried extra oil because they did not know when the bridegroom would arrive and they wanted to be prepared. The race to heaven must of course first be started by accepting Jesus as the Lord and Saviour, but also as it a marathon not a sprint as we await His reappearing, it is important that we remain vigilant, keep his words, get extra oil, build up our faith from the words of God and the help of the Holyspirit... And the rejoicing will be eternal at the final redemption like the wise virgins.... Halleluyah!!!!

Prayer: Dear Lord, give me the grace to run this heavenly race with patience leaning on your promises and living according to your will. So that I will be acceptable at the ultimate redemption 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
