He will do it again

”Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: and let us arise, and go up to Beth-el; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.“ Genesis 35:2-3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.35.2-3.kjv

He will do it again

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and forever more. In the book of Revelations, we are told that God is the Alpha and Omega, the all-powerful God who was, who is and is to come. In today’s Bible reading, after the incidents of his sons killing the men of the land in which they lived in vengeance, Jacob was so afraid of the repercussions. However, God reminded him of the place of encounter when he was in a prior distress and so he and his households returned.  Do you recall times in the past when God came through for you in the toughest of times? Well, he is still the same God today. If only you are willing to revisit the mountain of encounter with purity of heart and sanctification, he will come through with guidance for whatever situation you are in at the moment. Trust God completely and watch him turn your mess into testimonies by his mercies.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because your mercies endure forever. Thank you because you are our ever present help in times of need. Please Lord, I come before you in all humility. Please come through for me regarding every pressing desires of my heart in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
