Rise up and take your stand. Wake up from your slumber and stand in the gap. The Bible told us in the book of Ezekiel that the Lord looked across the earth to find those that would stand in the gap and make the hedge to intercede with him not to destroy the earth in his anger and he found none. As a Christian in the land, what do you do on behalf of the land? The Bible reading today uses the analogy of careless women who are taking their time, when they should be travailing in the place of prayers.  This is because according to the text there was going to be all sorts of challenges in the land until the spirit of the Lord is poured upon the land. When the spirit comes, the wilderness will become fruitful and fruitful fields would be some forests. So whether to get a bad situation to good or to make a good situation better, there is a constant need for intercessors. Be a voice for the land.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your constant offer of mercy to us your children despite our short comings. Please Lord, help me as a kingdom warrior to be reminded in my spirit what my role is. Grant me focus and strength to take up my office as an intercessor for my family, the church and the land. Please hear us and pour your spirit upon us. Transform our dryness to fruitfulness in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
