His arms are always open
“He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: And he shall see his face with joy: For he will render unto man his righteousness. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, And it profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, And his life shall see the light.” Job 33:26-28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/job.33.26-28.kjv

God’s arms are still open to save and restore. Often, we go through life feeling guilty of one thing or the other that we have done and instead of running into the arms of the savior, we keep looking for options and in fact stay away from him. Some people no longer pray ar even start to accuse God similar to the case of Adam when he had eaten the forbidden fruit. He went into hiding and when questioned flipped the table saying that the woman God gave him was the cause. In the Bible reading today, however, we are reminded that when we seek God’s face in true repentance, our souls will be saved and our life lightened. So the question today is: Have you fallen out of relationship with God and feel that there is no point in going back? Stop and rethink and retrace your steps back into the loving arms of the Lord like the prodigal son did and was pleasantly surprised at his restoration and celebration.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the savior of the world and you first loved me. Please Lord help me to always look to you and please save me from sin and myself in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
