The Bible gives a warning to seek the Lord while he may be found. A different verse in the Bible corroborates this by saying that those who do not take God’s corrections are in for a surprise in their time of troubles. Specifically in Prov 1:28, God says that those people will call and he will not and that they will seek for him and not find him. This is because they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear God.  In the Bible reading today, we see a scenario where in the time of calamity the Moabites who were being punished would go into the sanctuary to pray when they are tired of their high places and idols but God says that they will not prevail. It is important to prioritize God early, to seek his face constantly and obey his instructions. Because when we dwell in the secret place of the Almighty then we abide under his shadow where we are safe and secure . What would it be? Choose wisely. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a very present help in times of need. I look to you afresh today. I receive the grace to prioritize you in the circumstances of my life. Please help me and grant me the assurance of your presence that makes me an overcomer in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
