His Presence is Paramount

“Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.” Numbers 14:42-43 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/num.14.42-43.kjv

His Presence is Paramount

The success of your kingdom assignments and any one for that matter is not in absolute terms but instead driven by the variable of God’s presence with you in it. In today’s Bible reading, despite God’s previous readiness to bring them into the promised land, the Israelites were now warned by Moses not to take up the task anymore. That’s because God’s presence was no longer in it as they had provoked God with their unbelief and he had said that they would not enter the promised land for another 40 years.  Moses was someone who really appreciated the importance of the presence of God so much so that he had said to God earlier on the journey that if his presence did not go with them they did not want to leave. David was another person who checked back with God even when tasks were identical. So, before you rush back to pick up a task that God gave you previously, check that his presence is still in it. Before you run excitedly into new grounds, check that God has endorsed it because one with God will always be a majority.  And without his endorsement and presence, the task is dead on arrival.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the one who rules in the affairs of men. Lord, I come before you in complete surrender, teach me Lord to trust you. Teach me to follow you and please Lord let your presence never depart from me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
