His Word is Absolute

“Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover.” Isaiah 38:4-5, 21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.38.21.kjv

His Word is Absolute

The Bible says who is it that says a thing and it comes to pass when God has not said it. God’s words and instructions makes the difference in any situation. Peter had a net-breaking miracle when he put his net into the water at Jesus’ words despite past disappointments. In the Bible reading today, King Hezekiah of Judah was sick and God sent Isaiah to him that he was going to die. After he pled with God, God sent Isaiah back to him that he had added some more years to his life.  However, something to note here is that Isaiah told them to lay figs in the boil and he will recover. Someone who was not privy to the inside gist would think that the solution to the life threatening sickness that the king had was the figs. However, it only became potent because God’s word had gone forth about Hezekiah’s restoration. Hence, the key message here is that before you get hung on the method, seek God’s words first. His word creates ways where there are no ways and makes dry bones to come alive.  Seek his word and everything else’s falls into place including things that were seemingly irrelevant prior.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the power in your blood and your name. Thank you because you make impossibilities possible. Thank you because your word brings life and healing. Please send your word j tk every situation of my life and let it activate uncommon miracles in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
