Is your name found in the book of life or are you just an associate? Often, in life, when certain circumstances happen and it gets into the heat of things, there is often a need for identification of where an individual belongs. Such was the case in the Bible reading today. Some of the children of Israel were returning from captivity to go and rebuild the temple and the chapter identified the geneology of those who were returning. However, there were a group of people whose identity and lineage was unclear.  As such, the books were brought out and they could not be found and so they had to be separate from eating the holy things. There are certain things that are privileges of only the children of the kingdom and so while some individuals enjoy associate status in some things, when it comes down to the true benefits, the register must be checked. One of such is eternal life. So the question for you today is: What’s your kingdom identity? Is your name written in the book of life? Or are you just coasting along in associate status?  If you are unsure or you know that your name is not in the book of life because you have not accepted the Lord Jesus or have drifted away to the point that your name has been blotted out of the register, then retrace your steps immediately and seek to be listed in the ultimate book.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank your for going to prepare a place for us with the father. Father, please help me to live right at all times so that my name will always be found in heaven’s register so that I can enjoy the benefits on earth of true kingdom children and also partake of the ultimate benefit of eternal life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
