In the waiting room

“He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.” Psalm 105:17-19 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.105.17-19.kjv

In the waiting room

What is your waiting room attitude? Do you stay focused on the path believing that He who has promised is able to establish all that concerns you? Or do you just give it all up and give up your core character and values. In the Bible verse today, the Psalmists tells us how Joseph was sent ahead of the Isrealites to preserve them in Egypt during the famine and beyond. However, it was not a glorious entry, instead his arrival was as lowly and torturous as it could be. But in due time, he also came out of that situation in the most unimaginable and exponential way. From the prison straight to the palace because he remained focused even while in the wilderness experience. His unique character and skill was used to the glory of God and when the bigger stage opened up in the form of a National need, the time for the manifestation of his word eventually arrived. Remember that the Bible tells us that the trial of our faith worketh in us patience. It helps to build character and virtue. So the question again this morning is : How are you handling your waiting room experience?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for loving me. Thank you for the constant reminder that your thoughts for me is to give me a hope and a future. Father, I receive the inner strength and grace through the Holy Spirit to stay focused and build character in my waiting room experience that I may be found worthy on the day of my celebration at the timing of the fulfilment of your word for me 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
