Inner connection before the outward glory
“And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.” Leviticus 9:23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lev.9.23.kjv
Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.” Psalm 99:6-7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.99.6-7.kjv

There is an inner work that precedes the visible glory. We see in the first Bible reading today that when Moses and Aaron went into the tarbenacle and came out, they blessed the people and the glory of the Lord came down. This is only because they have followed step-by-step the instructions that God had given concerning consecration and so the outward show of his glory was the icing on the cake of the fellowship with God. The Psalmist also says in our second Bible reading that God answered Moses and Aaron alongside some other prophets because they kept his ordinances. Are you itching for the glory of God to be manifest in your work and life then put in the inner work of connection and obedience to his instructions in the word of God and specifically for your assignments through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Then and only then is the way paved for God to show forth his glory in your life as a child in whom he is well pleased.
Prayer: Dear Lord, please show me your ways that I may walk in them. Help me remain disciplined and obedient to see your instructions through to the end even when I don’t understand it so that your glory may be evident in my life and all that I do. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
