Who do you have in your camp? The precursor to today’s reading identified saints who had gone through tribulation and had now washed their garments by the blood of Jesus. And because of this great deliverance, they devote their time to God’s worship in his temple. Basking in the glory that radiates from the King of Glory who dwells in the midst of them. As a result, all of their needs are met in the place of service and worship. Drinking from living waters - with no stagnation and death and rejoicing all day long. Life throws all sorts of curved balls at us. At times like those, what matters is the insurance that we have through the blood which qualifies us for a glory and peace that is inexplicable despite the situations around us. When God is in your boat, it doesn’t mean that the storms will still not come. It means however that your boat will stay strong as though it was in the stillest of water because it’s anchored to the rock that cannot fail. Your needs are taken care of because you have the Lord of all in your company.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the blood of Jesus that cleanses and delivers. Let the blood have its perfect work in my life so that I can bask in the glory that comes from fellowship with you
