he Bible tells us that he that walks with the wise will be wise and the companion of fools will be destroyed. Why is that? The Bible reading today offers some perspective by telling us that just like iron sharpens iron, that is how a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. The relationships and company that you keep is very important. That’s why the psalmist calls the one who does not walk in the council of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinner, nor sit in the seat of the scornful as being blessed.  So the question for you today is who is in your company? How are you rubbing off on each other? It may be an indication of where you are headed. Be intentional and prayerful.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the reminder of your words always. Thank you for your guidance that is made available to us. Please Lord steer me away from friends that will lead to destruction. Help me to thrive in the coucil of the godly in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
