Joy comes in the morning

“O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee: Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;” Psalm 88:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.88.1-2.kjv

Joy comes in the morning

There are sometimes when it feels like God is far away or that challenges want to overwhelm us. In the Bible reading today, the Psalmist alludes to crying all day and night before God and for his cries to come to him. In the rest of the chapter, he goes on to ask God if there is deliverance in the grave or for a dead man. It was indeed a desperate call. Again God reminds us as his children that when we go through waters and fire that He is there with us. There is however one caveat. God’s eyes cannot behold iniquities (Habakkuk 1:13). So when we go through trying times, we must always check first that we are in right standing with God and if so, rest assured that no matter how dark the night of the challenges look like. Your morning of success and salvation is right around the corner.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I cry out to you. Please deliver by your mercy, shield me in the hollow of your hands and let my life be victorious always in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
