Labour for His Promises
“I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Entering into your inheritance as a child of God requires action. A million dollar cheque not presented remains “a promise” which in some cases may have an expiry period. In the Bible reading today, despite the declaration from God of sonship, the next step to attain the full benefit required “Asking”. So the question today is: Do you know your inheritance according to the promises in the word of God? Have you met the preconditions for fulfilment? Are you making your claims to the most High God? Are you doing the work required to seal the promise? Leverage the benefits accruable to you as a son of the master of the universe. It’s yours for the taking.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your promises over my life. Thank you for the benefits of sonship. I come before your throne of grace boldly today, please grant me the grace to enter into my inheritance in you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
