Let God take the Wheel
“And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee. So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled.” 2 Chronicles 14:11-12 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/2ch.14.11-12.kjv

When you give God the center stage, he takes over and grants you victory in the battles of life. A popular song says “Our help is in the name of the Lord, for the Lord our God is mighty”. In the Bible reading today, faced with a challenging situation, Asa the king of Judah called on the Lord. He reaffirmed to God that this was God’s battle and the he should handle it. We see that God came into the situation to deal with their troublers. Note that the reason that Asa had that confidence was because when he became king as seen in the preceding verses, he did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord. He pulled down the high places of worship that those before him did not. He commanded the people to seek God and so by the time the challenges came, they had been in right standing with God. So, while you rest ar whether even faced with any challenges at the moment, can you make bold to say that God is Option A, B, C and all. If that is the case then call on him in the day of battle and he will fight for you. In fact he will fight some battles for you before it becomes apparent to you that it’s even brewing.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the mighty God in battle. I surrender all to you. I seek to do your will and pull down every distraction from your true worship. Please Lord take on my battles and grant me victory on all sides 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
