Let His Presence guide you
“The LORD is great in Zion; And he is high above all the people. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; For it is holy. The king's strength also loveth judgment; Thou dost establish equity, Thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. Exalt ye the LORD our God, And worship at his footstool; For he is holy.” Psalm 99:2-5 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.99.2-5.kjv

Our God reigns and rules in righteousness. In the Bible reading today, the psalmist asks that we praise the Lord because he is great in Zion and he is high above all the people. The Bible gives us an instance of this when the Israelites were so excited in the face of the battle with the philistines when the ark of the covenant was brought into their midst to the point that the philistines recognized that the shout of the king is in their midst. However, it must be noted that God’s seat is holy and we have been told that those who can ascend into his holy hill are those who have a pure heart. So, while the presence of God carries power, the question is: Is your life and heart a conducive place for the presence of God? It is dangerous not to meet God’s spec of righteousness. If in doubt, ask the Israelites who were still defeated and the ark captured by the Philistines. Yet to show that God’s ark is full of power, the philistines regretted carrying the ark as the tales of destruction in the cities of the philistines that had the ark was evidence that God indeed rules in the affairs of men and executed judgement in righteousness.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are plenteous in power and full of might. Please fight all my battles for me and grant me victory so that all the glory will be yours alone 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
