Make God your anchor
“The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.” Joel 3:16-17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jol.3.16-17.kjv

The Bible tells us that God’s children have an anchor of hope for their soul that is firm and secure because of his promises to us. An anchor is often needed in transient and tough conditions like the sea. And so the assurance of God’s presence through any storm is a critical anchor that gives peace unlike what the world gives. In the Bible reading today, God describes a time of judgement where the gentiles and the whole world would be shaken. He, however, assured his people that he would be their hope and strength. It’s a marked difference between a true child of the kingdom that is branded for Christ vs the rest. So, are you seeking for a sure anchor in all the turmoil going on around? Then seek to be and remain branded. The assurance of his presence speaks peace and further more, his words still the storms.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your promise to be an anchor for your own. Please Lord help me to remain branded for you through your word and the Holy Spirit. Let the evidence of your brand upon my life show forth to the world in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
