The psalmist says that our help is in the name of Lord. He also says that those who trust in the Lord are like mount Zion that cannot be moved. The question for you today is: Where are you looking at for your help? We know that the hands of men ultimately fail. The one that is helped of God is the one that has true peace.  In the Bible reading today, when Israel was going through their challenges, they were waiting in vain because they were looking towards a nation that could not save them. From time to time, God raises help for us using individuals, institutions and processes. However, we must be discerning enough to know that the true source of help is God who has used those mediums for the selected period or task. We must never get anchored to the medium because without God in the equation that help is useless.  Focus on God and be like Mount Zion that is not moved. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for being our rock and shield. Lord, I come before you to ask for mercy for the times that I have directed my gaze away from you. I look up to you Lord, please accept me and help me like only you can in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
