Make Him your source
“Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.” Isaiah 31:1, 3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.31.1-3.kjv

The psalmist says that our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. As a result, our soul is escaped like a bird out of the snare of the fowlers. The choice of the source of your help determines the superiority in the capacity to be saved relative to the source of trouble. The Bible tells us that those that put their trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion that cannot be moved but abides for ever. The Bible reading today introduces a flip side narrative of those that trust in men because they are strong or in horses because they are many. The text goes on to say that when God stretches forth his hands, the helper and the helped would both be dealt with. Let your priorities be on heaven. Fear God who is the ruler over all things, seen and unseen. Prioritize your relationship with the one who is ruler over all. One with him would always be a majority.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because the heaven is your throne, the earth is your footstool and you dictate in the matters of men. I choose to stand with you today. I choose to prioritize you. Help me not to lose focus. Arise for me Lord and help me like only you can in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
