We are in this world but not of this world....... The Bible says “Can two walk together unless they be agreed” (Amos 3:3). The foundation of the Lord remains sure and he knows those that are his. In the Bible reading today, Abraham had come into his rest, he was thriving and had taken possession of the promises. However, when it was time for a critical decision on the co-carrier of the promise with his son, he ensured that the servant went back to his kindred to get a wife for Isaac. Do you recognize the distinctions in your day to day life and decisions. God has given us the possessions of the gentiles but when it comes to critical partnerships and destiny-shaping agreements, the candidates may not be in the domain where you thrive. They must meet the specifications of God and specifically for your destiny assignment. Your core principles must agree and be anchored on the words of God. These decisions means different things to different people. It could be in the choice of a spouse, business partner, legacy partners, vision supporters etc. So before you enter into that agreement, ask the Holyspirit to help you with discernment so that you don’t fish in troubled waters
