There is no hiding place from the all-knowing eyes of the Almighty God. There is no where to run out of his reach. This is so profound because it is a two-edged sword. While there is no hiding place for the righteous from God’s love, there is also no hiding place from the punishment that God metes out to his enemies and the wicked. In today’s Bible reading, God had assured Israel victory over Sisera, the captain of the army of their oppressors.  While the battle was still hot, Sisera ran away looking for a hiding place from the host of Israel and the Lord. However, he met his destruction in the place where he thought that he had gotten refuge, at the hands of the one that he thought would protect him. All of this happened so that the word of the Lord will be fulfilled. It is therefore important that we are always on the right side of the Lord as our loving father is also a consuming fire; and there is no hiding place from his will. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the captain of the host of heaven. Thank you because we are victorious in you. Lord, we come before you crying out for your mercy and intervention in every tough matter of our lives. Please intervene and put the enemies to shame. Let the evidence of your pleasure towards us be seen by all in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
