Obedience has rewards
“that thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. Obedience to God and his commandments is not only an act of reverence to God but also has significant benefits. One benefit of obedience to God is that it prolongs one’s life. When you are guided and shielded by the one who knows the end from the beginning then your choices lead you in a direction of preservation even when they don’t make sense to your logical mind in the beginning. In the same vein, obedience also results in increase because the secrets of the world and ideas that thrive are released to the individual. It is a guaranteed formula for success. Do you understand God’s instructions to you? Are you following them to the letter?
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the Almighty God who rules in the affairs of men. Lord, please teach me your ways and help me to follow. Please guide me into my rest and glory in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
