The principles of the kingdom are often simple but with significant potential and if not used according to design can yield massive negative consequences. One of the most profound principle of the kingdom is ‘Trust and Obey’. Your absolute trust in the capacity of the one who created you for a purpose and knows the course that leads to that destination yields the obedience to the instruction of God even when they don’t resonate with our logical senses. So many times, God says in the Bible that we should obey his instructions and commands.  Obedience is key as it realeases the blessings of heaven upon you and your endeavors. However, the consequences of disobedience is of a scale that is even higher. In today’s Bible reading, God made a covenant with Isreal and told them that if they walk in his statues, their lives, crafts, and everything around them will be blessed. However, the rest of the chapter described in a scary level of detail what the consequences of disobedience would be, even up to captivity by their enemies and a disturbed mind when they run when no man chases them. Even when they have resources they would never be satisfied.  This describes a life that is caught in the storm of life. It is a fearful thing to be on the wrong side of God’s power. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Choose the simple path. Trust and Obey.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the all-powerful, all-sufficient and yet gracious father. Thank you for being mindful of me. Thank you for the opportunity of fellowship.
