Offer Sacrifices to God

“If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? Offer unto God thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalm 50:12-15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.50.12-15.kjv

Offer Sacrifices to God

Your sacrifices to God are more of a service and preservation for yourself than it is to God. Often, God seeks our sacrifices - time, resources, collaboration and while it seems a lot sometimes, the best way to truly appreciate it is to think of it as an investment in the surest cause that guarantees multi-fold and multi-dimensional returns. In the Bible reading today, God reminds us of his omnipotence and self-sufficiency and why our sacrifices are not meeting his needs. Instead, when we honor God with our thanksgiving and vows, we save for the rainy day. We are able to call on him in times of trouble and he will answer.  So, question today is: What does your heavenly bank account look like? Are you in credit or is your account red? Why don’t you load up your kingdom cloud today so that rain is guaranteed in the seasons of dryness such that you can confidently say that there is a lifting up for me when others are being cast down.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for being mindful of me despite your self-sufficiency. Thank you for constantly providing an offer to partner with you. Father, I receive the discipline to sacrifice so as to load up my clouds. Please Lord hear my cry and deliver me always in the days of trouble 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
