There is a right path to wealth. The Bible tells us that the blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. When you are blessed of the Lord then you not only have the wealth but a peace that cannot be bought. The Bible reading today tells us that humility and the fear of the Lord result first in riches but then adds on honour and ultimately leads to life. It is a progression that is often missed by those who try to get rich through cutting corners and desperate acts.  There are so many rich people today who have no honor and there are many whose quality of life is in question because they have no peace even with the riches and they run from pillar to post to try to secure their life. Hence, the scales are therefore tipped in favor of the one who seeks his riches through the Lord. Lastly for such a person, beyond this life, walking in the fear of the Lord secures life eternal. This is why the Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else is a plus on top of it. Be wise.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the only wise God who is far above the wisdom of men. You are the one who knows the end from the beginning. Please Lord, I commit to you afresh today. Please help me to know your ways and do your bidding. Let my life be indeed pleasing to you and let the benefits of a life in whom you are well pleased be evident for the world to see in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
