There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the Sun according to the Bible. The Bible reading today highlights this in relation to the one who does not plow because it is cold. There is an assurance of hunger at the time of harvest. Often, people wait till when they see the harvest from others before they start to plant at which time it may be suboptimal.  The text today goes on to describe counsel in the heart of man as a deep water that can only be drawn out by men of understanding. Hence, we need the spirit of wisdom and understanding to get the right counsel regarding our life’s situations. This is why the Bible tells us to get wisdom and in all the getting to make sure that knowledge is key too. Be sensitive to your season of planting so that you are not caught unawares in the season of harvest. 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you have times and seasons in your hands; and you rule in the affairs of men. Please Lord help me to recognize my seasons so that I can plant at the appropriate time. If I have already missed my season of planting, by your mercy please create room for me. Let you mercy accelerate my season of harvest as I plant afresh. Please help me to recover all in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
