Please the Lord
”But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.“ Isaiah 65:18-19 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.65.18-19.kjv

God’s pleasure in a people or an endeavor makes the difference. The Bible tells us that when a man’s ways pleases the Lord, even his enemies will be at peace with him. In today’s Bible reading, the Lord talks about being pleased with the remnants of Israel and as a result there was to be joy in the land and the voice of weeping no longer heard. Again, it speaks to the importance of pleasing God because his pleasure in you is a trump card that sorts everything else. What are you prioritizing?
