God’s pleasure in a people or an endeavor makes the difference. The Bible tells us that when a man’s ways pleases the Lord, even his enemies will be at peace with him. In today’s Bible reading, the Lord talks about being pleased with the remnants of Israel and as a result there was to be joy in the land and the voice of weeping no longer heard. Again, it speaks to the importance of pleasing God because his pleasure in you is a trump card that sorts everything else. What are you prioritizing?
