Generational covenants are very powerful. The sorts of fellowship and service that lead to those sorts of covenant are very significant. Abraham obeyed God so much so that God gave him promises that covered his generations thereafter. The promises to Abraham and his immediate lineage spoke for the Israelites for a long time to come. In today’s Bible reading, Moses gave details to the Israelites about the expectations of service to God in the new land.  He tells them of the consequences of drifting away from God to follow graven images. Consequences of slavery and being scattered into other lands. However, he told them that if they repent, God would hear them and not forsake them for the sake of the covenants that he had with their patriarchs. Such powerful covenants so many generations later. Thanking God for the covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ that serves as a connection point back to the father for the present day Christian.  Are you leveraging that convenant? In addition, is your service to God covenant-worthy for generational blessings to your lineage?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for being such a loving father and friend. Dear Lord, please help me serve you diligently so that I can reap the benefits that would speak for my generations yet unborn in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
