Do you prioritize fellowship with God? Do you recognize the importance of starting with God? the best companion in the journey of life is God taking the lead. Jacob recognized this and so in the Bible reading today after encountering his brother peacefully and coming into the land of Canaan, as he was settling down one of his early action was to erect and altar for God. He knew that he needed to sacrifice to God and maintain fellowship with his creator.  As you start new endeavors, days, weeks, months, years, are you being intentional to erect an altar of fellowship with the one who is able to guide your steps and order your path? Does he have priority in your heart? Does he have priority in your schedule. One with God is a majority. Choose wisely.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you because you are the all-knowing and all-sufficient one who is yet mindful of the details of my life.
