Preserving the Vision
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” Judges 13:3-5 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/jdg.13.3-5.kjv
The carrier of the vision has work to do. It starts with the conception… In the bible reading today, an angel had appeared to Samson’s mum before he was born and provided guidance regarding his consecration to God but also guided that the mother first had to be consecrated during the pregnancy. Often God gives a vision for a great assignment to individuals and the characteristics of how that vision will be implemented starts from the point of conception, who you share the vision with, the things you allow into the vision, the ideas you take in on how to establish the vision. These go a long way to determine how successful in God’s lens such an endeavor will be. If the foundation be destroyed, the Bible says, what can the righteous do. What new beginnings is God putting into your life, guard them with all diligence, trusting God for guidance and wisdom. Also, when the idea comes to life, ensure that the instructions of God are weaved into the DNA of the idea to ensure true fulfillment of the God’s vision for it.
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for your word. As you birth new visions and assignments in me, please give me the grace to keep them consecrated unto you from conception through to manifestation 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
