Our God is a merciful God. His mercy prevails over judgement. The Bible tells us to come boldly before the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in times of need. In today’s Bible reading God gave Moses instructions for putting together the ark of covenant for his presence to abide with the Israelites. He asked that Moses put the mercy seat above the ark of testimony which was to include all the commandments that he gave them. He set the meeting place above the mercy seat.  God’s mercies are renewed everyday but we must approach the throne to receive mercy and the grace to live a life that is acceptable unto him. He is still putting out the call today. Will you heed?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a merciful God. Thank you because you grant grace for our times of need. Please Lord, I ask for your mercy for every time that I have shifted focus from you to my circumstances. I receive fresh grace to live up to your expectations and overcome life’s challenge from your secret place 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
