Imagine an exam scenario in which students are handed out exam questions with the instructions stating that the first part, the longer part is a preamble weighted at 10% of the score while the second part is 90% but quite short. A student excited takes on the questions and answers so rigorously, even requesting extra sheet. Only at the end of the exam he is excited to have answered the long part of the questions but did not realize he had failed the exam as he was just starting on the second part when the time was up!!!! He had not read the instructions!!! Sounds unbelievable? But so many times we go through life chasing so many things and competing to outdo one another. We forget that the main question to be answered at the end of life is that of godliness - Did we please God? The good things of life are great and should be sought after only on one premise that in it all we do not compromise the main goal of our existence - To please God.

Prayer: Lord, as I journey through life please let me constantly maintain focus of the one important thing so that at the end of it all I will pass the exam of Life 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
