The Bible tells us that the earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof; the world and all that dwell in it. This is a fact that must always be front burner on the mind of any creation of God and most especially his children. Similar to a person that enters a lease agreement for a house, we must always remember the one who owns the house. The Bible reading today gives a peak into some of God’s authority as the owner of the earth.  He controls the wind, the rain and the multitudes of waters. He grants authority to the rulers on the earth but can withdraw it within the twinkle of an eye. As such, we must always be careful to always prioritize his instructions and do his will because no matter how great or important we become, we are only tenants of that authority until the own who owns it calls for it.  Never get carried away with the creation that you forget the creator. It could be deadly.

Prayer: Dear Lord God, the creator of the heavens and the earth, the one who was, who is and will always be. I come before you today and ascribe all that I have to you. I recognize your lordship over my life. Let me continue to blossom in the authority that comes from you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
