A unique gift of a child of God is the peace that they have regardless of the situation around then. Jesus said to us that in this world there will be tribulations but that his children should be of good cheer because he has overcome the world. In the Bible reading today, the psalmist reaffirms that by saying that God speaks peace to his people. The peace comes from the assurance of God’s presence and pleasure in such an individual’s life and sometimes manifests in the foreknowledge that God provides for an individual and the promises of a hope and future.  So while others throw up their hands in panic, a child of God who has a word ahead of that situation is assured that ‘this too shall pass’ and that it is in fact working together for the good of the child of God. So, do you have the assurance of his presence? Examine your life and ensure that it meets heaven’s criteria. There is no clearer vision than a life guided by the all-knowing creator who makes everything beautiful in his time.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you have times and seasons in your hands. Please help me to live a life that pleases you by sending your word to me always and let me experience the peace that comes from a divine connection to the Prince of Peace in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
