Recognize the Lord
“Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, and said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, And he heard me; Out of the belly of hell cried I, And thou heardest my voice. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with her bars was about me for ever: Yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.” Jonah 2:1-2, 6, 10 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jon.2.1-10.kjv

God hears. The psalmist says, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help, my help comes from the Lord”. Recognizing your true source of help is important and then looking to that source to revive your help must follow. If you don’t reach out to your source of help then you may very well have a million dollar cheque with you that never gets cashed and yet you are going through challenges that only a fraction of that amount can solve. In the Bible reading today, Jonah prayed to God from the belly of the fish that had swallowed him. He repented and acknowledged the Lordship of God. He called on to God and he says that God heard him even while he was in the belly of the fish. He was convinced that the answer had come and then the manifestation came through subsequently. When you are in your challenging situation turn to God and cry out for mercy and help. He often sends his word and peace ahead of the answers. Trust him. He comes through in supernatural ways.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are my ever present help in times of need. Please Lord, I look to you afresh. Please help me and deliver me. Show to the world that you are Lord over my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
