Recognize your transitions

“And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.” Joshua 5:12 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/jos.5.12.kjv

Recognize your transitions

Do you recognize your transitions? Sometimes as humans we get comfortable and anchored to what is currently working that we find it hard to let go even when the letting go is a calling unto better and higher. The Bible reading today is very instructional. When the children of God entered into the promised land - the land of Canaan, the sustenance from manna that they had all through the journey stopped. It was now time to eat of the corn of the Land. Of course that will also come with some work subsequently but given that it was ‘a land flowing with milk and honey’ as promised, the work was bound to yield bountiful harvest. What source of blessing, income or sustenance appears to have stopped and you are looking back continuously trying so hard to restore whereas God is saying “look forward, the promise is here”. May the Lord open our eyes to see in Jesus name. For some people it’s friendships and relationships. They have gotten you this far but God is saying I am your sustenance, their assignment is done, Move on to the next level. As long as God is in it, rest assured that the trabsitions that He orchestrates are always for your good. Remember all things work together for the good of them that love God. The high, lows, good and ugly and everything in between.

Prayer: Dear God, I yield to your leadership over my life. Please open my eyes to see your orchestrated transitions to higher and better in you in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
