Reflect on His Goodness
“And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.” Mark 12:1-2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.12.1-2.kjv

Do you recognize the owner of your time and resources? Are you prioritizing returns for the owner? These are critical questions that we must answer from time to time. The challenge with long leases is that if not careful, the person who leases the property may start to feel like they own the property and make decisions like the owner. In today’s Bible reading, Jesus provides an analogy to the Pharisees with the example of a vineyard owner who let it out to some husbandmen. Unfortunately, at the season’s end, when he sought for returns, they persecuted and killed the messengers of the owner and even his only son. The conclusion was that the owner of the vineyard would come to destroy those people. Jesus used the parable in direct context towards the Pharisees of his role on earth and how they are persecuting the son of the owner. However, it is also relevant for the resources that are in our custody as tenants of the Almighty God. The Bible asks us, what do we have that we have not received? As you step out today, think of the blessings of God in your life including your health and know that the owner seeks premium returns. Choose wisely.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for your kindness towards us your creations. Lord, I come before you in full recognition of you as the owner of my life. I yield my life and all to you. Please help me to be profitable indeed in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
