Saving Mercy
“Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy: That they may know that this is thy hand; That thou, LORD, hast done it. Let them curse, but bless thou: When they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.” Psalm 109:26-28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/psa.109.26-28.kjv

God’s mercies saves and delivers. When God steps into a situation, he does it in such a way that people know that it could only have been God as seen in today’s Bible reading, and that is why he consistently uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. He elevates the one whom everyone despises into position of royalty. Mercy suggests though that such an individual does not receive a judgement that is due to them. As humans, we often fall short of God’s expectations because our righteousness is said to be like filthy rags before God. That is why our daily cry must be for mercy so that we don’t get any deserving punishment and beyond that we receive the benefits from the throne of grace that God’s mercies afford.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a patient, merciful and loving father. Please Lord I come before you repentant of every sin known and unknown. Please Lord let your mercies speak for me in uncommon places. Save me and defend me by your mercies in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
