“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/ecc.12.13-14.kjv

What is your heavenly score? When your life is summarized, how do you rate against God’s measure for you? The Bible reading today tells us that the conclusion of the matter is that we must fear God and obey him because that is the whole duty of humans. Regardless of your medium of expression, your gifting, your callings, your location, your interactions and accolades, the score that matters in heaven is how you have used all that to please God. This is because every work will be assessed, whether done in secret or openly. So the question for you and I today is: How aware are you of God’s expectation regarding the spheres of your life? In your day-to-day activities, do you know what Jesus would do if he were in that situation? Note that in the volume of the books - the Bible - is written of us. So there is a guide. Lastly, how do you measure against God’s absolute scale - bringing pleasure to him? If unsure, the new day provides another opportunity to retrace your steps back into the center of his will because at the end of it all, that’s what really matters.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for being mindful of me as your prime creation. Dear Lord, please show me your ways always. Let your words light up my path and steps so that I would always know the right way to go. In the final analysis Lord, help me to please you with all that I am and have in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
