Is God with you or against you? So many times, the Israelites fought and won so many battles against strong nations because they were empowered by God’s presence with them. However, whenever God was displeased with them, they were badly defeated. The presence and pleasure of the Lord makes a world of difference.  In the Bible reading today, the Israelites were being besieged by the king of Babylon. As usual, they turned to God to inquire in their time of need after turning deaf ears to his several warnings. This time around, their cup was full and not only was God not going to be fighting for them, he was in fact fighting against them to the point where those who were not killed in battle will be destroyed by famine and pestilence.  It is a terrible thing to observe the wrath of God. He is plenteous in mercy but also a consuming fire. What dimensions of God would you like to experience? Check your walk and work, your thoughts and action, your fellowship and worship and the answer will be staring you in the face. If you don’t like what you see, you have a chance to repent and seek his face today. What would it be? 

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your abundant mercies and loving kindness. Father, I come before you today asking for mercy for any past acts of disobedience. Please help me Lord and let my life benefit from a renewed pleasure of the Master of the Universe in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
