The Bible tells us that wisdom is the principal thing and that we must always seek wisdom. The Bible reading today reminds us of the relative benefit of wisdom as a defense over money in that it gives life to those who have it. A rich fool perishes very quick but a wise one knows what to do to preserve the riches and life. Wisdom also makes you stronger than 10 men because while they may be exerting their physical strength, the intellectual strength of wisdom produces results that all the physical strength may not achieve quickly.  How then do we get this wisdom? It is an intentional effort and you must put in the work. You must first connect to the source of wisdom because we are told that there is a spirit in man and the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding. We must then put in the work as Job who says that he has prioritized God’s words over his daily meals. The benefits of a life guided by the wisdom of God outweighs riches and so the instruction from God is to seek first the kingdom of God and every other thing will be added to you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your guidance always. Thank you for your constant call for fellowship. Lord as I seek you, please transform my life. Let every darkness of confusion be transformed into light of clarity so that my life can benefit from the wisdom that flows from communion with the only wise God 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
