It’s a sweet thing to be in the service of the Lord. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. The Bible tells us that the husband man that labors in the first partaker of the fruit. In today’s Bible reading, we see examples of how God qualified the Priests and also took care of them. When the meat offering and some others were brought to the altar, after portions had been burnt as a sweet savior unto the Lord, the Priests were the only ones entitled to the rest because it was a holy thing unto the Lord.  When you are dedicated to God, he takes cares of everything else that is important. This is why the Bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all with added unto it. The Bible also tells us of the many blessings that are associated with obedience to God. The blessing of the works of your hands, the blessings of your storehouse and of the every pipeline along the way - your baskets. God is intentional about blessing his own. Are you intentional about serving him and being consecrated to him?

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your faithfulness always. Thank you for always being there for us. Thank you for your call to dine with you at your table. Please give me the grace to be disciplined in my service to you and obedience to you so that I may eat the good of the land that you have prepared for me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
