Seek to do His Will
“Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.” Zechariah 8:22-23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/zec.8.22-23.kjv
God’s presence in the lives of his beloved is an attractor. The Bible confirms this in so many texts. For example, we are told to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing will be added to us. Also, the Bible tells us that whoever believes in Jesus, will have living waters flowing out of them. Living waters attracts life and trade and all forms of good things. The Bible reading today was God’s words to the remnant of Judah and Israel. It was a confirmation that when God dwells in their midst, nations will be running towards them seeking association because the presence of God with them produces evidence. Looking for the evidences? Then prioritize the major thing - seeking to please God and do his will and watch your life transform from the goodness that his presence brings.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness and faithfulness always. Thank you for your promise and evidence of the goodness in your presence. Please Lord help me to walk with you with a renewed zeal and let my life blossom from the goodness that comes from a relationship with the giver of life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
