Seek to Hear God
”Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army. And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me, seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you? And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;“ Genesis 26:26-28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.26.26-28.kjv

God’s presence and its associated blessings in a person’s life is undeniable. The Bible tells us that when a man’s way pleases God, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. In the Bible reading today, after Isaac was sent away from the Philistines because in their eyes he had become too big for them, the blessing on his life was so undeniable that the king of the Philistines had to come out to him to make a covenant with him that he will not hurt them. Such is a life that is blessed by God. Even the Philistines acknowledged that God was with Isaac. It was so much so that he was thriving and waxing strong in the midst of famine in the land. However all of this happened because Isaac obeyed God’s instructions to remain where he was. Hence it is important that we always seek to hear God and more importantly do his will because when you sign the dotted line of your agreement with God he goes into full implementation mode. Choose wisely and see the undeniable results of complete trust and obedience.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are indeed a great God who sits in heaven and makes the earth your footstool. Thank you because you continue to show through your wondrous acts in the lives of your children that you indeed rule in the affairs of men. Lord, as I trust and obey please step into my situation and let the world marvel at the evidence of your presence with me in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
