Sincere Worship

“The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God. For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.” Nehemiah 11:22-23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/neh.11.22-23.kjv

Sincere Worship

Worship is an important ingredient of communion with God. The Bible tells us that God inhabits in the praises of his people. When Paul and Silas praised God despite their challenges, it was an acknowledgement of how much God outsizes whatever their limitations could be. There are instances of prophets in the Bible who received the word from God after a minstrel worshipped God. In the Bible reading today, we see intentionality around appointing singers in the temple. We also know that David who pleased God so much was a worshipper. It takes a reflection on God’s capacity and deliverances to truly worship in the midst of challenges.  So, what is it that you are going through. Take a moment to acknowledge the greatness of God in worship from your heart and watch him come through for you. Also, even if your situation is that everything is great then also appreciate the mighty hands of God that had brought you this far and watch him do more for you. Remember that the Bible says that it’s not of him that wills or runs but it’s only by God’s mercies that we achieve the things that we do.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for being Lord over my life and situations. Thank you for being mindful of me. Thank you for daily loading me with benefits. Thank you for great deliverances. Please Lord, let your praises never seize in my life in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
