Sovereignty of God

”Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.“ Exodus 7:11-12 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.7.11-12.kjv

Sovereignty of God

God rules over all. His word is yes and Amen. He was God from eternity past, he is still God today and will reign in eternity. All powers are subject to his sovereign rule. Hence, one with God is always a majority. In the Bible reading today, Aaron had dropped his rod which turned to a serpent based on God’s instruction to Moses and Aaron to give Pharaoh a sign. However the magicians of Egypt were able to replicate the miracle. At least so they thought until the Lord showed his supremacy by making this single serpent from Aaron’s rod to swallow up all their serpents.  The Lord reigns supreme and all power in heaven; on earth and underneath the earth are subject to him. So be careful about where you pitch your tent. The appearance of the ability to perform miracles is not always a true test of supremacy or the power of God. Don’t be deceived by the ‘magicians of Egypt’ around you. Surrender to the supreme God. He wins always.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are the almighty God who rules in the affairs of men. Thank you because your lordship cannot be disputed. Lord I look to you, please grant me the spirit of discernment so that I don’t pitch my tent in the wrong corners with those destined for destruction in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
