Spend time with the Word

“Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God. They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;” Ezra 3:2, 4 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/ezr.3.2-4.kjv

Spend time with the Word

Do you know what is written? In the Bible reading today, the remnant of Judah were returning to rebuild the temple of God and before they started, they made offerings and sacrifices to God as ‘it was written’. The Bible tells us that in the volume of the book is written of you and I. Hence, the admonition to study the word of God to show ourselves approved unto God. Time spent studying and understanding what is written in God’s word is a worthwhile investment as it opens up the treasures of heaven unto us and makes us approach the throne of grace with knowledge of what is accruable to us as children of God.  It also helps us to understand God’s expectations for holy living so that we can retrace our steps before impending destruction.  Wouldn’t you rather be enlightened and informed? Take time to know what is written today and going forward.

Prayer: Dear Lord, that you because you are a loving father and friend. Thank you because one with you is a majority. Father I commit to searching your word to know you. Please grant me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you and let me blossom in that new revelation in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
