Stand for the truth

“But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.” Mark 15:9-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.15.9-11.kjv

Stand for the truth

Be careful to join the multitude to do evil. The Bible warns us in the book of Exodus not to join the multitude to do evil nor to pervert judgement through false witnessing. The Bible reading today highlights an important portion in the events leading to the death of Jesus on his assignment to redeem the world back to the Father. While it was divinely destined that Jesus was to die as part of his mission as the sacrificial lamb for the world, what remains profound is that fact the the people collaborated on falsehood.  Even though Pilate knew that the accusations were incorrect, he bowed to the power of the voice of the people. Every added voice strengthened the power of the people on the path of incorrect witnessing. However, we must never be deceived because each individual will give an account of themselves. While it may appear that nothing is happening in the instance when you collaborate to do wrong, rest assured that the Bible tells us that every one will stand in judgement to give account of every idle word spoken. So be warned.  Stand out, come out and be different. Who knows? You may be the Noah in your own sphere to be rescued from destruction of perverseness. The only unity that is worth it is one that is on the basis of truth. Be careful.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you are a faithful and just God. Lord, please open my eyes to see every unholy collaboration that I am in. Please give the boldness to come out and be different and Lord, let the benefit of standing out for God be evident to all to see in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
