Nevertheless at thy word!! The difference between a fruitless effort for Peter the fisherman, later to become apostle, and a net-breaking catch was the catalyst of the instructions of Jesus. The word of God is so powerful and it’s important that we follow his instructions to the letter. In today’s Bible reading, after the initial defeat at the hands of Ai because of the accursed thing, God instructed Joshua to go back to fight Ai. He confirmed that he had given Ai and its king to them to deal with like they did Jericho.  God did not only give the matching order, he also provided the strategy to them just like he did to Peter in the fishing scenario. He told them to lay ambush on the city from behind. God is in the details. God is in the story. He knows the end from the beginning but he is also intentional about the path that leads to the destination. Hence, it is important to be attuned to Heaven’s frequency at all times so that we can receive instructions for life. He makes all things beautiful in his time. We just need to stay committed and follow his leading consistently. One with God is always a majority.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you because you have got times and seasons in your hands. Thank you because you are the omniscient God who knows the details of our lives and happenings. Lord, I yield to you afresh, please lead me like only you can into the place of my expected end in Jesus name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. ‎
